Lane3 started because nobody hands you a map. You find out about the June 15 contact date after it passes. You learn swimming scholarships are split into fractions after you've already told your kid it's a full ride or nothing. You get an aid letter you can't compare to any other aid letter.

We went through it — club meets, taper weeks, coach emails that never got answered, financial aid offices that spoke a different language. Lane3 is the tool we wanted: the timeline, the honest numbers, and the aid strategy in one private place.

What Lane3 does today

• A private athlete profile: grad year, school, academics and best times by course.
• A “Where you fit” estimate that compares your times to general recruiting reference ranges for D1, D2, D3 and NAIA.
• A grade-by-grade NCAA recruiting timeline you check off as you go.
• A target school list with estimated family cost, coach-contact status and visit tracking.
• An AI-written aid and scholarship strategy built from your own quiz answers, profile and times.
• Plain-English public guides on scholarship limits, timelines and real college cost.

What it doesn't do yet

We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later. Lane3 does not verify times against USA Swimming, does not pull live rosters, coach contacts or official school cost data, does not contact coaches for you, and does not send weekly automated plans. The school list is a starter list, not every program in the country. Division fit is an estimate from general reference times, not an official standard — the NCAA and NAIA don't publish recruiting cuts.

Lane3 is in early access. We're not going to show you testimonials, user counts or press logos we haven't earned — there aren't any yet. What we can offer is a working tool, honest guides, and a real person on the other end of hello@trylane3.com.
